NAPO Youth Poverty Initiative

Press Release - Youth Poverty Day

The National Anti-Poverty Organization has launched a Youth Poverty Initiative that seeks to engage youth in taking action on youth poverty. Youth (between ages of 15 and 25) is one sector where poverty is growing and there are many more poor youth than a decade or two ago. We aim to achieve some meaningful progress on at least two issues that would help to reduce youth poverty such as raise minimum wages, cap and reduce post secondary education tuition and ease access to Employment Insurance.

Buttons and action cards are available from the NAPO office. Buttons are $1 each for orders of 10 buttons or more. If you are ordering a large bulk order please call the NAPO office at 613-789-0096 or 1-800-810-1076 as a discount may apply.
